Welcome to RunJumpWeave Agility Center

Located in the Thousand Oaks area

Since 1989, Kathy Lofthouse has trained, handled and titled ten dogs with the United States Dog Agility Association, American Kennel Club and North American Dog Agility Council. She has been a finalist in the USDAA Grand Prix of Dog Agility with four different dogs and a participant in the AKC Nationals with two of her dogs.

In her private lessons Kathy shows you how to bring out the best in your dogʼs agility performance, improve your dog's understanding and enjoyment of individual obstacles and hone your handling and communication skills so that your dog runs with more enthusiasm. The result will be a happier and more confident dog and more fun on the agility course.

Whether you want to just have fun with your dog, or to have a competitive advantage in the sport of agility, private lessons with Kathy Lofthouse is the way to go! With toys and treats and a positive attitude Kathy will show you how to bring out the best in your dog. All well-behaved, healthy, sociable dogs are welcome, large or small, regardless of pedigree.

For the youngsters, Kathy offers "Eager Puppy Days" where the pups can enjoy socialization, constructive puppy games and bonding with their owners, all the while benefiting from the special imprinting Kathy gives her youngsters that will make future training easier.

A Dog Called Kan by Kathy Lofthouse

Kan wants a job like his Uncle Bob, who works on a farm all day. His need for mental and physical activity are misunderstood until he discovers the sport of dog agility. This simple childrens' story appeals to adults and children alike as we all empathize with Kans' desire to be a good dog.

Kathy with TC & Daz

Lunarlite's Totally Cool, aka TC (on my right) is a USDAA Agility Dog Champion and has his AKC MX and MXJ titles. We call him the track star as he loves to run really fast in very large circles. He is a very talented agility dog and a lot of fun to run.

Lunarlite's Bobbie Dazzler, aka Daz has his USDAA MAD title and his AKC Open agility title. He is our "bouncy boy" who loves to show what those long legs can do. In his short career he has won local qualifiers for the USDAA Grand Prix on five different occasions and has won two USDAA Steeplechases. He and Kathy love to run agility together and every run is fun for this pair... best of all he's a great lap dog!
